Nah, this is representative of three different contractors working on one project and having frigid weather hit early. When it warms into the 50s later this week, they can actually put down the asphalt on top of that concrete; otherwise, best they can do is some shitty cold patch that'll get obliterated three weeks into freeze/thaw season.

I’d say you are partly correct, however, there were almost 2 straight weeks a bit ago where it was 60+ degrees with no work being done. We all know November/December is coming and temps can dip so when these roads have been dug up for 6 months, this looks like god awful planning

Eh, little column A, little column B. Coordination could've definitely been better, but this is the same kind of thing that happened a year or two ago in East Falls - and this might've been a longer run of main that had to get replaced, really. Shit's complicated, stuff happens - not to say it isn't aggravating, but the day a major public works project goes exactly to plan is probably the day we finally get pigs airborne.
