Did COVID kill Fante’s?

The back room is gone. All of it. No baking supplies. No bowls. Copper pots are gone. Espresso machines are gone. I did not see half the selection it used to have. It looks like a business that is winding down.

Please tell me I’m wrong.

I did some shopping there the other day and was glad they were still open. Most of the baking stuff got relocated. ... still worth a visit if you're in the area :-)

Never went before covid, but a few weeks ago before Christmas they were bustling and had baking stuff/espresso machines.

The back room has been closed for a while now, more than a year at least I think. I was worried too but they're still open, don't go writing their death warrant just yet.

I somehow never went there before until about 2 years ago. I was just there 2 weeks ago and it looked unchanged from my first visit, for what that's worth.
