I was hoping for the wet ones this year. Oh well. Thanks!
Regardless of what happens at Penn's Landing, you can bet that everybody and their mother will be launching military-grade artillery from their sidewalk in nearly every neighborhood.
Isn't the idea of a NYE Celebration to be reckless and noisy for one last time before the years end? Also, it's a Saturday night this year lmao.

NYE Celebrations aren't too high up on the "priorities" list for me lol. It's literally the last thing i do every year. It ain't that serious. Enjoy the calm, reflective time in the final hours of 2022.
Not a clue about this year specifically, but they have been in the past.
Source: spent at least two rainy NYEs at Penns Landing watching fireworks through heavy very cold drizzle.
The last time I went, fog accompanied the drizzle. We saw the glow of some of the fireworks. I'm too old for that now. I enjoy 4th of July fireworks when the sun sets so over by 9-9:15.
Yup, that's exactly what it was like for us the one time.
I think we're planning to go this year, but it really does depend on the weather.

They do an early show on NYE so you can take your grandkids.
