I'm visiting this weekend and I really enjoy Philly, but since I've never been to New Jersey I thought I'd cross the river for a couple hours one day. I don't have enough time to drive to the coast or I would. Does anyone have any suggestions of stuff to visit in NJ that's still close to Philly? Even a cool park or restaurant is good.

Main Street in collingswood or haddonfield are nice to walk through. Just small town vibes with Main Street

Take PATCO to Haddonfield. Stroll the downtown shops. Pick one of many great restaurants. Enjoy the holiday vibe in full swing.

Collingswood is a cool small town... great shops and places to eat. 10 minute drive over the bridge. It will certainly get everyone in the holiday spirit- looks like a setting from a Hallmark movie around this time of the year.

The Battleship New Jersey, and the Aquarium are right across the river.

It depends on what you like to do. Museums? Shopping? History?

Ive never been impressed with the Camden Aquarium personally. I always feel like I’m walking out 10 minutes after I walked in

Camden Aquarium. If you're driving, Donkeys Place (cheesesteaks) in Camden is the bomb! Fries are great too.

They also have one in Mt Holly & somewhere else too, but the OG is kinda cool. Safe in the daytime.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I can make a day out of these suggestions and I appreciate the food options, I was hoping to check out something unique but I had no clue where to start. I do love a cute main street.

Severino's Pasta and Bricco are good stops in Haddon Twp. (just past Haddonfield). Sev's makes their own, and has fresh & dry pasta you can take home, including NJ shaped.
