I (Delco) received just a regular text at 7:06AM, not the normal emergency alert that comes with a loud audible tone that would wake a corpse.

Yeah - woke me up.

This is one of those things that despite my annoyance I never disable. In the event I can do something I want to know. Cost of "living in a society" or something.

I heard it at around seven.

Then proceeded to have a person either try to kidnap me or escape from someone else ten minutes later on the way to the bus stop.

No. I don't think they're onto you over here.

Also, you guys know you can shut those off, right?

There were a couple dozen triggers of the alert with other riders on the PATCO train this morning around 7:10am, somewhere between Collingswood and 8th and Market.

I'd gotten mine a couple hours before - around 4ish - and also didn't get back to sleep.
