Agreed. That would be the best way to go about it. That way it doesn’t touch title IX issues, which this very well could if implemented in the US.

Reply to Philadelphia Residents Avoiding Tap Water After Catching Horrifying Glimpse Of Hairless, Wheezing Gritty by Wissahickon
I’m ready for the downvotes, so here’s my opinion: Gritty is the reason the Flyers suck.
The Flyers have missed the playoffs 4 out of the 5 seasons Gritty has been around. In the 50 seasons prior, the Flyers missed the playoffs 11 times. So they went from making the playoffs ~80% of the time to missing them 80% of the time after the fat, orange, Scott Hartnell-esqe freak was introduced.
Fire Gritty and save the Flyers.

Cash Money. Temple is all about alternate means of revenue. Higher sales mean they can charge higher rent to businesses.

As bad as sidewalks are in center city, holy fuck they are worse in the outer parts of the city. Anyone who has walked in Roxborough knows the struggle of walking vertically because a tree has pushed the sidewalk up to a 45° angle.

Is that so far-fetched? I won’t go to places that don’t take cards. Not out of any principle, I just don’t carry cash on me.

Maybe, but a better guess is that they were beginning to lose a lot of business from it. We’re an increasingly less cash carrying society for better or for worse. Businesses are beginning to understand that.

I don’t want to give away my neighborhood, but I would try to lay as much trolley track as I could in 24 hours down a main arterial road in hopes that I can get a trolley route that gets very close to my house. Might be tough to do in 24 hours.

I dunno. All I know is pain with two shining bright spots (2008 and 2017). Everything else has been pain. At least I no longer have to watch Villanova dominate the city and can just enjoy the crab bucket that is Philadelphia college basketball.
