I've checked sites of phila.gov streets dep't, police 6th district, 6abc, CBS, but can't find street closure info for Sunday Jan 29th except for this Nextdoor post:
>The 6th District Police have notified the WSWCA that there will be a traffic box (no traffic) from 8th Street to 20th Street, and Vine Street to Lombard Street on Sunday, January 29th. The traffic box will go in to effect some time during the last quarter of the game.

Not having a walk-up window to stay safely open during weird circumstances is an absolute folly in this city.

Homo Hut handles all the drunk as fuck crowds at 2-3am regularly by selling through the window.

it doesn’t make sense either, we closed early on the day the phillies made it into world series, in fear of people coming in and destroying stuff in the store. you telling me you don’t have that fear now???? we’re not even gonna get any extra staff on top of that.

That's, uh, impressively stupid.

My condolences, I've been through "are you coming to work???" during a tropical storm before.
