Shame the US never picked something awesome like the Golden Eagle. Anyone who's lived where bald eagles frequent knows theyre mostly just scavengers. Pretty scavengers, but scavengers nonetheless.

They're really fishers, but that's a hard life in the 21st century. Since they're basically reversed like Gods in the US, they have no fear of humans, and consequently don't mind scavenging a meal.

It isnt scavenging food from people that I was referring to though. Regardless of the revere for them it's simply in their nature to scavenge another animals kill. They only fish when they have to

Much like the US, eagles also steal prey from other fishing raptors like osprey.
