This is what I do. I have straight up phone calls with my therapist and just park by where Gus’s sets up in the Commons park and nobody has ever bothered me or stared at me. Another good place is the outer limits of a parking lot of a box store. Of course this presupposes OP has access to a vehicle.

Just make sure you're not connected to the car's Bluetooth and doing hands-free calls. The car will act like one big speaker and the whole parking lot will learn things you didn't necessarily want strangers knowing about you.

Funny story. I’ve done this once. Due to sunroof and screen brightness on high, my iPhone overheated half way through the call and wouldn’t turn on for 15-20 minutes so embarrassing lmfao

I’ve gotten into the groove of a non video phone call with my therapist who is aging out of the profession but has kept a handful of clients like me—we have a 20 year professional relationship with an 8 year gap in the middle. It’s personal to every such relationship, but I find the audio only call is more intimate and I’m able to focus better on the issues at hand. When we are on video conferences I feel more self conscious and it distracts me from the issues I need to focus on. I do enjoy the occasional office visit!
