Support your local hunter or take up hunting yourself.
Pay for another tag/the processing fee and not only will you have a freezer full of meat but you'll reduce the chance of people hitting a deer ever so slightly.
Its a win-win.

This and support environmental and conservation efforts. Climate change allows more deer to survive the winter and changing forestry and predator populations have allowed deer to thrive.
