It seems the same company that provides the bikes and technology in Pittsburgh did the same in Denver. Apparently Denver changed providers, so I guess the company moved the bikes to Pittsburgh. You’d think they would re-brand them before putting them in circulation.

Based on? It was my assumption someone just stole it and left it here. I didn’t see any indication it was a pay for ride bike at least anymore. Someone just had it shoved in the rack for the e bikes.

PBSC Urban Solutions provides the Bikes for Pittsburgh. The same company provided the bikes for Denver. I think they lost the contract for Denver, so it would make sense to move the bikes to another city.
Why don’t they rebrand them? Who knows.

And dropped it without any infrastructure attached? Idk I doubt it. You can go pick it up and take it for a ride for free.

Yeah you’re right. They stole it from Denver and ditched it on the North Side of Pittsburgh. I mean, makes sense since it’s mostly downhill.

I could 1000% percent see it taking a train or van ride with travelers. Could you not? It’s not heavy. Come on, Jack!

Yeah could be. I would have teleported it. No fees on the train, more room in the van.

Looks like there is a press release from March about it, and the company was bought by Lyft in April.
So probably a /r/NotMyJob worthy kind of thing
