I find it hard to believe a homeless camp qualifies as a superfund site.

It's fake. The phone number is for the mayor's office.

So it was randomly posted by someone as a joke ?

It would appear that way. Or maybe as a political statement.

But yeah. Google actual superfund site warning signs. They don't look like this at all, and obviously the phone number goes to a federal agency and not the mayor of Pittsburgh.

Yes. The nuclear meltdown at New Stanton isn't even a superfund site.

Needles of all types are considered a biohazard right now.

Whether insulin or heroin, they are prominent in homeless locations.

Biohaz isn't a qualification to be a superfund site. The sign is fake.

You caught me pumping out a PSA w/o researching what a “superfund” site actually is.

Still not looking it up.

Still not surprised the govt. wastes money, photoshopped or not.

Superfund cleanup is for seriously nasty stuff - heavy metals, toxins, nuclear contamination. Not excrement and used needles.

I know what superfund is. Half of Pittsburgh is built on top of brownfields where the dirt is more sulfer dioxide, lead, mercury and arsenic than actual dirt.
