That Superman building is iconic.

It deserves more national recognition for just being a cool looking building.

Nice use of lens. I can never get this sort of composition!

Thanks a lot. To give you some insight I used a 70-200 mm telephoto lens from atop the waterfire place and used a tripod to get the whole scene in focus with a long exposure.

I wish I went to the last one. Missed all 3 due to prior commitments. I guess you didn’t go on Friday since it was pouring.

This was the one on Friday during the Santa parade! They moved it from Saturday to Friday! I was so glad that the building was lit again! It gives a lovely contrast to the who image

I'm bummed I volunteered months ago to light the fires in the last day and it got rained out. What a cool event though!

Beautiful!! I live in Connecticut, maybe 30 minutes from Providence. As a matter of fact, the RI border is about 2 miles away from my home. I’ve been to providence dozens of times in my life. I’ve always wanted to shoot the city, but was never sure of where to start.

Yeah, we do water fire here in my home town a few times a year. I’m about worn out shooting that type of thing. I’m always looking to find locations for long exposure night shots.

I'd say just bring your camera, park somewhere along the river, and walk- you'll find so much stuff to photograph, from the Superman, to the pedestrian Bridge, to the hurricane barriers and tugboats
