My boyfriend/fiancé and I broke up recently. He said that we were just at different places in our lives. (Since I’m still in college) I moved out with nowhere to go and was homeless. He cried and begged me to stay until august so I can save for a place to live. We sleep in the same bed, still call each other our old nicknames, and he is constantly initiating sex. During sex he tells me he still loves me. We have sex way more than before, about as much as when we first got together. I went on vacation before the break up and kind of glowed up. I look better than I ever have. But I want to win him back. I was a bit complacently before and am now constantly doing things around the apartment and out on my own. I am working on myself. But I love him so much and hope that this is just a break. (He did tell our roommate that he broke up with me without thinking about it) but now whenever we’re not in bed he is shutting off his emotions. Calling me “roomie”. How do I get him back?

Well, you are kind of being used right now. You really need to move out so he'll see what he is missing. He has no reason to get back with you cause he's getting the milk for free.

you want to know how to get him back? really get him back? you move out on your own, having your own separate space, then you invest in yourself for a bit. Get that thing you need when 'working on yourself', which is time away to reflect and truly change..After a couple years or so(probably longer to be safe), when you are better situated and in control of your own life, you can then exercise the option to share that with someone else. He will absolutely love it!! Seeing the true change, knowing you are an equal partner and not just someone he needs to take care of to fuck, will make take this relationship to the next level. You got this girrrrll.
