Turn it OFF. If your mom can lie about Turning it on, you can absolutely lie about Turning it off everytime. Also do not be ashamed. So what if you masterbate? It's completely healthy and normal. Your mother should be ashamed. If she dares to mention it, tell her how gross and creepy it is that she filmed it. You're an adult. Act like one.

I will turn it off but I don't know how to get to the footage, I'll have to mess around and check.

Thank you, you're right I should probably be a bit more assertive but I'm genuinely scared of her reaction to this particular situation. Anything else I would be able to be super honest with her but this is harder because I'm hoping I'm being paranoid but she can make me feel confused so I feel like I'm losing my mind at the moment lol

I want to but I don't know exactly how to do it since it's been a long time and the password might be different but I'm going to check on it now

Please do. Otherwise you have to formally ask your mother - sadly - but I doubt that it has been changed.

How long until you move out? Get out of there.

In the meantime, disable the camera permanently. You're not beholden to anything she recorded. If she brings anything up, it's a violation of your privacy. State that! "I'm not talking about this, you violated my privacy. Erase all that footage."

If you feel it's necessary, you could threaten legal action.

In the meantime keep your head down and focus on putting your time in to move out and get healthy boundaries
