New cat had caught a chipmunk or baby squirrel when I went outside the other day. I wanted to move my peppers inside, but I couldn't handle the death squeaks so I went back inside.

I don’t know what the “right” action to take is in these maulings. That injured squirrel wasn’t going to respawn, but I didn’t want it to suffer a prolonged torturous death so I made Leo come inside.
