This probably isn't helpful, and I haven't been to Amtrak in a while, but it used to be set up to pay when you left. If that's no longer the case, I'd call the station.

At most you will probably get a ticket. If you have the passport app you can pay for an extra day that way

If you entered your phone number when you paid for parking you’ll get a text shortly before parking expires. You can add more time through that.
