Rolled back into town after being gone for almost a week and saw that the Christmas tree on top of the fountain at Kanawha Plaza was gone. As I drove by, I did see that it looked like maybe pieces of it were in the fountain basin? But thinking it may have blown over, the pieces didn't look like it was enough to make up the whole tree.

Anyone got the skinny on what happened?

It blew over in the storm! Assuming I am referring to the right fountain plaza...

The city could invest in a better tree anyway. It was underwhelming

Anyone know if that awesome house with the giant Christmas skeleton survived that wind storm. Basically it was a tropical storm force winds. In winter. Or a major blizzard without snow
