How do you suppose could you ‘repeat’ a computational system more effectively while operating WITHIN that system?

Seems implausible to suggest that the universe is simply a Von Neumann machine.

You would need to breach the outer limits of the universe itself in order to repeat the system on which it is based while working from within it.
