I'm not sure you can fully get people's honest views from asking them to write them out. The world has plenty of grifters and self delusional people. Observing us in how we literally express our values within the world may be more accurate.

Yes true, but I think bringing those people closer to the arguments that convince other people gives them the best chance to be honest to themselves.

Which characters are you missing? The normal ones should work fine.
