Lots of interesting problems:

Songs/music videos will become virtually free and instantaneous to make.

What genre will survive?

I suspect they will be a “merger” of celebrity profiles allowing the top ones to do music, real TV, paintings and generally outrageous things all together.

Elon Musk will “make” classical music and Jazz, the Rock, Hard Rock, water paintings etc… as everyone could make the same, value will be locked to their persona with tokens.

We will come back to the middle ages in a way, with relics of Saints being traded all over Europe :-)

The way things go, pretty good digital avatar of those people will become available for a few dollars to everyone. Seeing the power of mimetism, I can easy see people interact directly with them instead of with each others.

We could end up with maybe a hundred celebrities AI clones providing all interactions for everything…

I still think human made art, music especially included, will still have value. There is a deference between someone just generating a piece of music Vs someone spending years to learn an instrument, develop Thier vocal skills, putting thought and effort in writing songs and putting real human emotions into your work. Just like fas food didn't replace fancy restaurants AI generated music will never replace music made by humans. (Or at least the good stuff)

That what people said about handmade fabric or handmade shoes or handmade wine.

Now even the premium ones are made on the same machines as the rest, only with a little bit more care, and a lot more marketing…

Actually there is a market for LEGIT hand-made stuff for most things...but its niche and expensive. This will probably be true for more and more things as AI devours everything.

Amen. But the point you make is more about capitalism than technology as a medium

It's about no longer needing them. Today chat gtp still can't fact check. So you still need a person to find out.

Why would celebrity be the thing to survive through this? Celebrity is already falling apart as people get more access to these folk and stop thinking of them as gods. If anyone can create the same thing as Elon why would people not see through the facade of celebrity? Your entire point hinges on there being someone with the singular vision to be worth it, that's not how humanity works. Celebrity is a product of capitalism and ignorance.
