Where were the parents of these kids. No way am I letting my 15 year old wonder the world alone with 40 yr old dudes

Most federations won’t pay for parents to travel with athletes. If they can’t afford it, then that puts them in the position of denying their kids the opportunities to compete internationally or else letting their children travel in their own.
