In 2015, DeAndre Jordan was about to sign with the Dallas Mavericks and bailed last minute to resign with the Clippers.

Or if a player like Sabonis picked a team like the Warriors, was about to sign, and then the team got cold feet about medical stuff, so he goes and signs with the Knicks.
