Not saying it's the case in this situation, but I've almost hit several people since the time change. A lot of them are walking on the road with no reflective gear. Everyone needs to be more cautious; drivers and pedestrians alike.

No idea who is at fault here, but I used to live right by there, and it's common to see people fly through that intersection at 70+ mph. You also have to cross six lanes of traffic and a median to get across it. I personally wouldn't cross it at any time unless I absolutely had to, but especially not at night.

Cherokee is just down the road, and I used to see kids crossing it pretty frequently.

Yeah, some of the roads in this town are bad enough to drive on, let alone walk on/across. When walking, I always assume the drivers aren't paying attention, even though it is their responsibility to do so.

If you mean walking alongside the road, then that is what you're supposed to do when there's no sidewalk.

No idea why you imply pedestrians should be wearing reflective gear everywhere. Do youwear reflective gear when you leave the house?

They didn't imply they should wear it everywhere, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that wearing reflective gear when walking alongside roads at night is a good idea to help stay safe.

Yeh honestly, I used to do much more pedestrian commuting to work and built up the habit of at least always wearing a bright colored beanie in winter. It just made sense to me. Better to do anything then nothing and so much other winter wear is dark.
