In addition to the issue having zero import to any human being on earth, it's also bullshit to talk about reasonable expectations. If you give someone information such as your email address and they've made no statement of any kind to you about what they are going to do with that information, you have no expectations of any kind. You gave the info, it's theirs now.

You might not, most of people though would… so would I… impact (probably what you meant) is that data hungry harvester leeches are building your profiles and presenting skewed information to you on your social media platforms to shift your opinion for more socially important things in path of least resistance for your character/personality type that serves them best. Have you looked at Cambridge Analytica and Facebook doings for last 5 years or so, if not - read about it - quite interesting stuff there.
