You are kissing out if you liked the pre final season of GOT. It covers a lot but not force rushed like the show runners have a plane to catch. And the characters don’t yet become Flanderized like Jon Snow towards the end.

There’s rumors over at Warner that the new CEO Zaslav wanted to have the season 8 redone and move forward with a season 9 & 10.

That would be interesting if it happened, but it seems almost impossible.

I will say that they created one of the most iconic villains via their Night King amalgam and then impotently Arya stabbed him to death. So much potential spin off money just flushed.
