I’m currently developing an idea for a sitcom and am brainstorming many ideas for episodes. I’d just like to know what my limit is (I’m only planning for 4 seasons at most to be made if whatever network I go to picks up the show)

Network usually 22 but I’ve seen 24 and 26 on occasion. Cable maybe 10-13. I remember FX shit out a lot of episodes of that Charlie Sheen show at once.

If it’s picked up and successful on broadcast TV, look for 20-24 episodes per year. Production costs and network commitments to special events and scheduling may have an impact on the final order.
