Let's take sitcoms out of the equation for this one cause that's just the entire genre.

I'll start with John Reese from Person of Interest. The writing's great and Jim Caviezel delivers them to perfection. Kinda makes the show if you ask me.

Even minor and side characters had fantastic lines throughout the series.

I don't think there's any other show that did it as well as justified. My favorite was probably "The next one's coming faster"

Boyd is up there in my list of greatest characters on TV.

Gotta be the Sopranos for me. So much of it is endlessly quotable and is basically all Sopranos fans do when talking about the Sopranos (including me).
