I like it a lot and can't wait for more! I rank it behind Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds but it is really good. I feel spoiled right now with so many ongoing Trek shows.

The Prodigy episode involving time dilation on a large ship was an amazing episode of Trek, period.

The episode that was a tribute to The Original Series was unbelievably hilarious, I was dying!

In general I am loving Kate Mulgrew in dual roles as Janeway, she's wonderful.

However, sometimes it is too much of a kids' show trying to be an adult show and it does bother me. I want them to focus on "monster of the week" episodes and forget about their larger plot. The entire overarching plot is a simple "lack of communication" trope. It's terribly written and only children would not see through it. It's just not believable at all. They are a handful of ragtag children, can we please not make this a "fate of Starfleet" situation? It doesn't fit.
