Is it just me or does streaming seem like it's not exactly going well these days? HBO Max is $50 billion dollars in debt and in the process of erasing content from their catalogue to save on money, Netflix can make 100 shows a year but will only renew like 5 of them resulting in a huge catalogue of unfinished products and unsatisfied subscribers, and other streaming services like Peacock and Paramount+ don't seem to be doing anything truly worthwhile.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but it's starting to feel to me that streaming, while a novel idea, just doesn't work like we all want it to. I haven't had cable in many years now and I've relied on streaming services entirely the last 5 years, but with the state of HBO Max and all the BS they are doing, I'm starting to feel like maybe all of this will go under sooner than we think it will.

What do you guys think?
