I know this well and even thought about it, but my dumb ass decided I knew better. Sometimes you just do stupid things. I have no excuse.

Oh yes, humans do stupid things all the time. I am guessing you probably won't put your finger over the barrel again and pull the trigger without checking to make sure there's no pellet... So it was a learning experience!
