No way!! That was the janitor's magic trick. Sometimes he used Vaseline, but mostly he just turned them around and sent them on their way. It must have happened often for him to have a technique. The kid would stay trapped and other pupils and teachers would hover around until the janitor turned up and instructed them.

I think it’s because I really forced my head in there. By the time I turned myself around my ears and head got a little swollen. You should have seen my face, very beat red.

I bet the old jannie at my primary could have done it. He has those skills. Lucky you had people to help you or you might still be there.
