No. It is the responsibility of the individual to not lie to and exploit others. Being lied to and exploited isn't a moral failing on the parts of those having harm done to them

It goes to show you how lucky Freud was to escape. It was ultimately his friends and family that saved him.

Freud only went to the US once in 1909 and it was nothing to do with his nephew.
