Animals don’t need to get through the tunnel I’m not sure why you’d need or want them to. The animals existed before the tunnel was built and they certainly don’t need the tunnel to continue. I can’t see any reason for needing to let any animals through.

We shot all the feral dogs. Bats do have rabies but are super rare.

at least in the us (and its probably safe to be sorry) if bats are found in your house the CDC is quick to get you scheduled for a rabies vaccination
