I knew it was going to be Adventures With Purpose, they're the only people that give a shit about this sort of thing, what the fuck is our bloated national police budget doing for us if a bunch of amateurs paying out of their own pocket and youtube money can do in a few hours what cops can't seem to do in months or even years?

Police and lazy and bad.
Solving rapes and murders and missing person cases gets in the way of harassing minorities or sexually abusing women.

I thought this may be another case that I highly suspect is related to Israel Keyes. They said, the investigative team at True Crime BS is also dedicated to solving missing persons and unidentified victims cases. They are just focused on a particular killer that targeted the New England area and Upstate NY significantly.

That's cool/crazy Adventures with Purpose was involved in this! I've been following them for quite a while. I haven't read the whole story, since all of these articles tend to be behind pay walls, but i think what they are doing is great. Law enforcement seem to have an issue, but if they help solve these cases, maybe they should back up and welcome the help that they obviously need.

I hope they come back to look for Brianna Maitland. For some reason her case really haunts me.

Why do you think she is in a body of water?

Wow. I have been watching them for awhile and assumed they would never come to Vermont, because I thought we likely have no one missing in that manner around here. It's sad that someone in our own community could be sitting missing in the river for that many years and all it took was one professional dive team with sonar to find him. If police had the right equipment and cared enough, he could have been found a long time ago.

I know! It was shocking and sad to learn how common it is. I'm glad they're doing this to help families.

Well we haven't found him. We do not know if he went into the water with the truck.

We pay police to make people feel safe, not to do anything. The police system is antiquated and an absolute joke

Ridiculous that the truck was literally within sight of VSP HQ in the Winooski River for all this time.I guess if you want the VSP to really look for a vehicle you need to tell them there was a little bit of weed hidden somewhere inside it.

AWP's work is not just out of their own pocket and YouTube revenue/subscription. They take donations through their website. We've been donating to them when we can for a while now.
bignotion t1_ir8ol3o wrote
Well, they get paid through youtube monetization and direct contribution. Seems to be a pretty good system. Picks up the slack.
