I was chatting with an older guy with an obvious German accent on the hill yesterday. I asked, in German, if he was German. He cutely said he was Austrian, and I profusely apologized in German. Because reasons.

Second Von Trapps for sure- all of their food is excellent, big fan of the chicken schnitzel and the sausage plate, their spatzle is solid as are the mashed potatoes with sauerkraut. i always take home some of their homemade mustard too

The main restaurant is pretty good too.
For breakfast, they replicate the typical spread you will find at an Austrian Alpine hotel better than anywhere else I've found in the US.
