I’m sick and my cable bill went up to $178. For just internet. NO TV service. Seriously wtf.

Any chance Starry is available (or could be) for your building or house?
Hope you feel better soon.

On their site they claim they are still planning on continuing service. Probably a risky bet though.

Check to see if you can get DC Access: great prices and amazing service. After a huge storm I was back up the next day while all the Verizon & Xfinity customers were a week. And for the folks talking about how it will go up: no increase since I got it in 2019.

RCN is great if you can get it. I pay ~$30

That’s how they start off. I was at that price originally and am now paying $105 with no difference in service. It’s the only place that services my building and I feel stuck and annoyed.

I’ve had it a year and it’s still $30

Same

RCN, Comcast, and Verizon all consider you a "new customer" after 2-3 years with no service.
Obviously it doesn't work for you since RCN is the only option in your building but for people with other options you can just cycle through each one every year or two to get the best deal.

Call them and complain. They might come down, especially if you are nice to the rep.
