To the massive group of high schoolers who were acting obnoxious during the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's closing ceremony--Why?

Smoking cigars, laughing, throwing footballs--all while there's a ceremony commemorating those who we've lost to suicide right in front of you.

I understand that it was your homecoming afterparty or whatever, but come on. That was unacceptable behavior.

As we’ve seen recently, rowdy groups of teens do what they want, no matter what is happening or who might be harmed.

Unfortunately, I’m not even shocked. Beating on a lady and throwing her off the bus really drove home how groups of teens of the area really don’t care for anything but themselves and “clout” with their peers.
