Agree with this, it’s often pretty quiet but is always relaxing and, at certain times of year, spectacular.
If you end up going in summer, bring a hat and some water else you’ll bake.
Cool, I've never heard of this place. Thanks!
Bonzai Gardens at the National Arboretum are up there. This is a great time to go as some of those plants are currently in fall. Also, they have a 400-year old Bonsai tree that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
Not hidden, because it’s in plain sight and on many lists, but Planet Word museum doesn’t get enough hype. It’s great if you’ve grown tired of the Smithsonians.
A few trails I like run through Dumbarton Oaks Park, as well as the trails between Glover Park and Foxhall Crescent.
If you like to look at gorgeous houses, walk the Kalorama neighborhood.
Edit: Planet, not plant.

there’s a spot on Pennsylvania Ave. that I love that I’m blanking on
1600! just remembered

You have no suggestions?
This sub is so salty. I love it. Everyone in here is channeling Omar from the Wire, "OP got me confused with someone who repeat hisself."
The O Mansion
The L. Ron Hubbard House is a great place to get indoctrinated while being slightly afraid you're going to get kidnapped. I suggest showing up in the middle of someone else's tour so that your first stop is the basement.
You have no suggestions? Because I was asking people for their personal favorites.

There's this great burger joint on Corcoran and 17th. Name slips my mind.

Commodore?
No, it's not that one. It's other one. Right on the intersection. Can't remember the name to save the life of me.
There’s a McDonald’s and a Safeway there 😅
Subway and Annie’s steakhouse too
Maybe you should be open to searching the sub!
I'm looking for people's personal favorites.

O street museum
To be clear, I'm asking for people's personal favorites, you know, like a conversation? If you don't have any suggestions, it's okay to not reply.

Kennilworth Park and the Aquatic Gardens.
Not at its best right now but get a jump for later.
