Nice bike ride to work today. Light traffic in all forms, everyone was polite, other cyclists remembered how to use their bells or voices when passing, wasn't biking into wind, and, gasp, didn't have to weave between cars blocking the box! Wish every biking day could be like this.

My cat vs plant shelf barricade held up while I went out of town for the weekend! Normally, fat baby loves the forbidden plant snacks, but I shoved them all on a shelf under a grow light and walled them off with cardboard strung up around the shelf. It was so great to not step in vom first thing getting in the door.

Sometimes I make em with rosemary n mushroom cream sauce and serve with buttered toast. Sometimes I do mushrooms onions with some curry and black pepper and have with rice. Sometimes scrambled on a sandwich.
