Rats also make great disease vectors and destroy crops.

I'm sure you think a rat is a great pet. That doesn't mean they should be pets.

Dogs kill and maim people, cats kill billions of wildlife each year....both also carry diseases that can be transmitted to humans.

So by your logic they also don't make great pets.
