It's an incremental change that was made. This is the beginning and not the end. The framework is setup now and the interference by industry lobbyists is a great story to build the movement. It's not about one bill or one person. Everyone needs to become a repair advocate. It's a movement of people creating change and it has to keep growing.

I've been waiting decades in NJ working and renting. The commute is really bad. It's ridiculous we have to wait so long for free housing in NYC. Housing should be a right for everyone in NYC. I've thought about moving to Texas to get away from it all and jumping on one of these priority NYC housing shuttles.

How about all union agreements? Can it be any more clear that the government will sign whatever contract it wants to buy votes down the road. There's fair compensation and then there's extortion and kickbacks.

There's concerns she will do amendments to the bill and limit it based on recommendations from lobbyists. We probably won't know how bad it is until she signs it.
The John Deere exemptions already in the bill were extensive. The state is going to require you to get an electric lawn mower in a few years and you'll have to throw it away and buy a new one every three years because it will be too expensive or impossible to repair, but it's electric and green lol.

You're not going to win any union votes with that kind of attitude.

Less trains to push people in front of is a double win.

I don't totally understand why business people can get guns more easily because they handle money but individuals who are frequently targeted aren't able to get a gun to protect themselves. Money is valued more than your life. Businesses have insurance. NYC pretends all the laws are about safety of the greater good, but it's really about privileges for the wealthy and powerful. Criminals will get guns illegally or just use knives. If you have a door man or private security you're going to be safer, only poorer people have to worry.
