Reply to I'm moving out to New Hampshire for university, what do you guys think is the best part of living in the state, and what's the worst? by Henry_Privette
The best part is how vibrant our Bigfoot population is.
The worst part is we have too damn many Bigfoots.

Reply to Black fly in May? by jessesparkell
Black flies can be anything from a minor annoyance to parasitic swarms that make you question life itself. It all depends where you are.
Most places you will be fine with regular bug spray. In really bad areas, the only thing that works is a hat with a head net.

Reply to Moped License by Lannden
An “electric moped” sounds a lot like an e-bike. You don’t need a license to ride a bike (even an electric one).
Stop calling it a moped, stay to the right, and I’m sure she’ll be fine.

As others have said, the area between exits 10-16 can be treacherous. The weather there is worse than anywhere else around—and I’ve received multiple reports of Bigfoot collisions in that stretch.

First off, it’s sand and salt … not dirt. Second, you are going to have to figure out to decipher directions like that if you plan to live somewhere like Lempster.
Free sand is almost always at the town highway department garage. It’s probably down the road a bit on the old town road.

Comments like this are why I come to Reddit… clearly you are a man who has life figured out. Many could learn from your wisdom, insights and thoughtful analysis!
The dems are clearly the root of all problems in this world. It has nothing to do with unregulated capitalism at all.

Sununu means well and has been a pretty good governor*. But he has presidential ambitions, and the GOP would never support a candidate that legalized weed.
It’s as simple as that.
(* especially for someone whose nickname in school was Crybaby McFishsticks)

Reply to comment by JayBisky in Why does this state seem to lose power so frequently? It’s always related to downed power lines from trees? Or is this a grid issue? by JayBisky
This type of answer over-simplifies the problem. Burying thousands of miles of power lines would not be a cheap endeavor in the best of circumstances (and NH taxpayers are notoriously cheap).
And trying to do this in NH would be even more complicated (/expensive) than in other areas. We do live in the Granite State after all.
Carving out that much Granite would upset the Lizardfolk—and that’s not a problem any of us want.

As a reminder for the arithmetically-challenged, 24 weeks is 6 MONTHS.
