Moved to Worcester this past year and a runner. West side, tatnuck, burncoat solid options....downtown has a lot more to offer in terms of within walking distance. I'd recommend staying in Worcester city as it becomes extremely suburban/rural outside city limits. I run basically the entire city footprint and outside of city limits for trail running.......it's alllllllll hills....at least I'm in better shape for races. Within city limits you basically have access to anything within a 10 minute drive.

Yes coming from someone who moved here in the last year. City is growing and you are within close proximity to many amenities. Hardest thing will be change in climate (just layer) and breaking into the social scene which will take 6+ months. Worcester checks many boxes imo having lived in several other cities/states.

I moved to Worcester recently and have the same problem. So far I've basically looped around the city more or less and try to stick to long roads like Main and Park.

I do run trail at Cascades as they have some loops you can double up on to get 6+ in. I've yet to find anything great.
