Are you sure it's the thermostat? The thermostat could be powered from the heater so that means if the breaker to the heater trips then the thermostat will be off. Check your breakers for any in the tripped position.

I would check the website. I tried to do this last year and they said no. I had to get a regular ID and I needed a special Real ID appt. Real ID seems like one of the biggest government cluster fucks.

It's not just north Philly. Jefferson Torresdale is just as bad. The ER wait is 12 hours. Look up the reviews on Google for a read on how bad it is.
