It's off Devil's Fork trail, but an article I read suggested it's the “only water cold enough to squelch the fires of hell.”

There's a nice little swimming area right before you reach the bathtub, but it's usually crowded. The bathtub itself is 8x20 feet and 12 foot deep. Not big enough to actually swim, but you can jump in.

It was created by a stream called Devil's Fork, which is also the name of the trail that it's on. Bathtub is because it looks like one with the waterfall being the faucet.

I see a bird head with beak and eye socket. Kinda looks like a duck. The long darker rock with a small tree coming out of it. Is that what you're talking about?

I traveled 6 hours to see this and it took 2½ hours to hike, so I definitely had to jump in. Don't let the appearance fool you, it's about 12 foot deep.
