I actually like that about Daisy Jones and the Six. Both Daisy and Billy are terrible people who shouldn’t be together yet I still found myself rooting for them. Even though Camilla totally deserved better and Camilla was such a great person that I felt like an asshole for rooting for Billy and Daisy
Another thing I love about Daisy Jones is that because of >!who the narrator was, it’s like of course no one is gonna tell them the full details and they’re gonna be biased towards certain people!<
I love the complexity of it all

Reply to SO EXCITED about the upcoming March premieres: Yellowjackets, Top Chef World All-stars, You season 4 pt 2, and HBO's Perry Mason revival, season 2. What are you excited about? by Pleasant_Choice_6130
Daisy Jones and the Six and Succession
I was excited for “You” but Part 1 was boring compared to season 3 so I’ll probably still watch it but I’m less excited for it

Seriously though. I work late a lot so there are days where I only read two pages a day, It also doesn’t help that I’m such a mood reader.
Plus due to school, there were times where I was only able to read at lunch and on the bus for 20 minutes.
It’s fine. No one is gonna throw you in jail for reading at your own pace.

Yeah, I don’t really understand why some treat reading like a homework assignment.

I did notice the show had her lying down on the bed and or sitting down a lot so I’m glad the show worked to help her.

She deserves the best.
She’s been in the business since she was 16 with Married w/ Children and I’ve been a fan since I watched the show growing up. It’s so nice to see her finally get her flowers
It’s also a little bittersweet knowing this is her final acting project due to her MS so I’m glad she can retire on a high note.

Too many episode lengths to choose from but
Archer
El Contador, The Limited, Drift Problem, lo Scandlo
All in a row. The funniest episodes they had.

Reply to What are your "reading goals"? by basketsnbeer
I’m going to try to attempt the 52 book challenge next year.
Every year I’ve either surpass my goal of 20 or barely make it. This year I’m pretty close to making it to 25 for the first time since I’ve raised my goal to 25 so I’m going to attempt to read to 52
I also plan on focusing more on series books this year then one off books.

Before the pandemic, I used to go the movies by myself all the time.
It’s so much easier because no one complains or distracts you.

Yeah, I think I'm going to get Verity at the bookstore this weekend just to see the hype.

Its why I like YALit and 52 books alot more. People at least try to have decent conversations about books, like "I didn't really like this book, but, you might, seems to fit your tropes."
And when theres a post about the "what tiktok books didn't you like" it's more detailed then "It was shit and everyone who likes this book can't read."

I like 52book. It’s a lot better. A lot of the times people will be like “I wasn’t a fan, but it sounds like it’s up your alley so you might like it more than I did.”
