I agree. But, judging by the quality of the show, whenever they have successive seasons, it’s usually poorer quality as they try to get every character involved in the plot and it’s super unrealistic. I sort of see it going the route of Designated Survivor.

I hope they copy what they did here and moving forward try to resolve most story threads in one season.

What’s funny to me is that Netflix cancels so many shows that end on a cliffhanger but this particular show had a proper ending that it didn’t necessarily need a season 2.

Even though I like that Rebecca and Ted have a platonic relationship, they have more chemistry together in s1 than with any of their subsequent pairings.

I think if they have more interesting characters next season, it’ll be good. This season had the most boring characters.

I watched it at 1.5x the speed and very happily scrolled on my phone to get through the boring scenes.

Same! I like that they released a show that has a similar tone even though it’s not as good.

I liked it. It’s shallow but has good suspense and enough interesting scenes to keep you hooked until the end.

I do wish shows would not have cliffhangers since a cancellation is a strong possibility.
