FYI, the Six Flags is about a half-hour drive from the portion of the Jersey Shore that includes Asbury Park (Point Pleasant is a little bit south, Seaside Heights a little further than that).
If you spend the afternoon at Six Flags, you can head to the Asbury boardwalk for a nice dinner overlooking the ocean.

Brick. North of TR. In South Jersey (or on the Shore), but I've never heard anyone refer to Ocean County as Central Jersey (or vice versa).

Never been, but Lakewood has a place (I think called Shore Shot) that's not tourist-oriented (we're in the red part of the state here). They have lots of guns you can rent, but I don't know what the total cost would be with ammo and everything.

I saw it too, thought it was fake decor at first until I noticed that it was on ice, and the ice was a little pinkish colored.
And that's the tail sticking out of the ice next to it (to the right in the pic).

Used to be one in Brick (J.P. Lee's) but it closed a couple years ago after being here at least 20 years.
