Tequila Willys, where at least the drinks are stiff.

I took my driver's test there in the mid-90s. They didn't make me do a 3 point turn, but I was prepared.

Reply to Fish Fry by RubberChicken24
I got fish from the American Legion in Bethel Park, and it was huge disappointment. Last year they had fresh cut fries, and they were so good. I was looking forward to their delicious fresh cut fries again, and even got a second order of them, but all we got were food service fries even though they are still listed as fresh cut online. The fish was soggy too, had to crisp it up in the air fryer at home.

Not sure why you were downvoted. St. Valentines has a great fish sandwich. Sides are meh though. They didn't offer dine-in for 2021 or 2022. Just looked, and it appears to be takeout only again this year too. They did offer alcohol pre-covid, but it was a keg of swill (Miller-lite, I think).

When you pay property taxes, they ask you to do this (or at least they used to) so that they can send a receipt back. I never did it, because I didn't care enough to spend the time/money on it for the receipt, but they always sent a receipt back anyway in an envelope I didn't have to address with a stamp I didn't have to buy.

Probably because it's been about two months since we've seen the sun. I'm loving it. All the gray days this time of year really negatively affect my mood, and this year seems to be even worse than normal. Get out your sunglasses and enjoy it!

The assholes are everywhere. They always have been, they just weren't always emboldened to be in your face about it. That's what happens when we have shitty "leaders" that not only don't denounce this crap but spew it themselves.

Reply to Home Warranty Recommendations (for appliances) by StopOhThenWigleWitIt
My recommendation is to skip the warranty. Go take a walk around Home Depot of Lowes, and see what your money can buy you. There are plenty of options to replace almost any individual appliance for less than $940, and you can probably find something for under $600.
When I bought my house a decade ago, it came with a one-year home warranty paid for by the seller. I have no idea what they paid for it, but my hot water tank started leaking within the period and it still cost over $400 to replace. The warranty company told us which local plumber we could use, so there was no shopping around, and only the tank was covered. They charged for the expansion tank, flue modifications, permitting, haul away, etc. I think you'd be better off putting that money somewhere where you can make a few bucks in interest, maybe an online savings account as they usually pay a bit better and there are a few extra hurdles in obtaining the money which would make you less likely to spend it elsewhere.
